The Social Golfer Problem asks how to arrange players into groups over several rounds without any pair meeting twice. Social Golfer applies that idea to practical events with absences, fixed positions and changing group sizes.
Zero repeats are not possible for every schedule. With 16 players in foursomes, each golfer meets three partners per round. After five rounds, they would have met all 15 other golfers; a sixth full round must repeat some partners. Constraints can limit the options even earlier.
Use Recompute All Sessions online when planning the event as a whole. Available constructions can produce zero-repeat schedules for supported configurations; otherwise optimization aims to reduce repeats. For weekly league play, keep completed sessions locked and use their history when planning later rounds.
